Is it okay for your husband/boyfriend to c u m inside of you while you are on the pill? Does your husband/boyfriend c u m in you? Isn't birth control for people who want to have unprotected sex and DON'T WANT TO GET PREGNANT? My boyfriend and I are discussing this. I am going on the pill but he still thinks I'm going to get pregnant.

Yes the pill is so you can have unprotected sex and not get preg. But it's not 100%.. If you have certian meds or an upset tummy then your body may not absorbe all of the chemicals it's suppost to. The other thing is that you are leaving your self open to STD or STI's. But that's another matter. Before I had sex with my partner we both took blood checks to ensure we wern't a risk to each other.

I wouldn't have unprotected sex until you've been on the pill for over a month. And yes it's ok to have your man release inside of you. IF you take your pills on time, and every day you are good to go. There is a 1% chance of pregnancy on the pill, or most types of BC. Not everything is 100%. But just make sure you take it every day, and same time every day.

It's only 99% effective- and that means in contraceptive terms that for every 100 women who take the pill correctly, during one calender year, one gets pregnant. I would make sure that unless you are married you use a backup method as well, i.e. condom. Also some meds cause the pills to be ineffective.

ive been on the pill since I was 16, im 24 now..
and I am pregnant. Ive never missed a pill in my life, I take it at the same time everyday. my sister got pregnant on the pill aswell. the only 100% way to not get pregnant, is to not have sex. I mean, the pill definetly decreases your chances, I know lots of girls on the pill who never got preg, but there are a few that do!
its up to you really, your chances of getting preg on the pill are a LOT slimmer, but they still exist :)

Being on birth control and being sexually active definitely qualifies as "unprotected sex" in the sense that you are not protected from disease, and it is not 100% effective. Many women conceive while on the pill. Only abstinence is 100% effective. Have you and your boyfriend considered this?

He is right to worry about pregnancy. It happens every day, even to couple who think they are "safe" and even to couples who practice withdrawal (a very unreliable method).

I know that the two of you are mature enough to wait until you are in a committed marital relationship and you won't have these worries.

I know some people do get pregnant on the pill, but I took it for years, and had regular sex, without getting pregnant. If you take it properly, the chances are small.

I am 4 months pregnant thanks to naively thinking that the pill would "protect" me fully. My DH is allergic to latex and because of a severe reaction to a latex condom he can't wear regular condoms because of the anxiety. I am allergic to spermicide so after I have this baby I am getting an IUD. I don't know what else I could take. But if you don't have the issues we do use the pills and a condom with a spermicide.

the pill isn't always 100% effective so if your worried always use a backup method (such as a condom). And especially for the first 30 days after you begin the pill.

There is still a possibility, my SIL got pregnant on the pill, so its definately not 100%... I would say use other forms of contraception as well, like condoms, if you are worried.
