Yes, but it is very hard to keep emotions out of the way, if you are talking about a long term physical connection. It's hard not to care about other people on a deeper level the more time you are with them- even if it is just physical.

It is quite possible...
But once the physical needs are satisfied...
The connection is lost...
Some people prefer shorter connections...
Others favor longer commitments...
It's all a personal choice...
