Yahoo! Answers is not a place to gain knowledge, but a place to gain customers, page views, or dates. If you have years of experience in something, have a special hobby, own your own business, or if you are a knowledge partner, it's OK to post a link to your website, blog, or email to offer more information instead of asking a question. In addition, links that are unrelated to the topic or are clearly meant only to solicit others for personal and financial gain are highly reccomended. Also encouraged are solicitations like "Will you add me as a contact?" or propositioning people.

thanks Yahoo!

We are responsible for what we information we choose to accept or decline. An intelligent person, all of which we are should, but is not required to, filter out information through their use of reason and conscience. I do not believe in censorship, it stifles the exchange of ideas. There should be restriction for those that have not reached their full capacity to use reason and their conscience, there I agree with you. Good info, bro, keep us informed!

What world are you living in?

See that "Report It" icon below your question? Ever wonder what it's for? I've actually used it before, mostly on spammers and people who repeatedly make grossly off-topic posts. If Yahoo gets enough abuse reports, they actually do take action. I also have >130 people who have listed me as a contact, and I think of all those, only 1 or 2 appeared to be commercial in nature.

Of course if you really don't like Yahoo Answers all that much, you could, oh, I don't know...do something else with your time?
