It could be a sign. Maybe call back just to be like Hey sorry about that if you got a call from me before, my dog accidentally speed dialed you. And then from there maybe the conversation will take off, who knows.

The real question is why hadn't you already deleted the number?
I am going to go with a sign, maybe you should at least deal with whatever kept that number in your phone's call list. Everybody needs closure.

they may have needed incouragement
it was a sighn that you should make amends thay you are to be the one to initiate the call and "someone " out there knows that you decided to dail the # for you...call them back something is wrong and you need to find out what that is

if its still on your cellphone speed dial, it must mean you still want to talk to them. it could be a sign.
