that doesnt have the blue and with (not that i dont love it) im looking for an island or town that is realy calm nice streets green and stuff like that if anyone knows any could you please help

What time of year?

If we're talking winter, then most islands will be pretty calm, without much tourism. You may want to go to one of the larger, more-populated islands to avoid excessive isolation.

If summer, then most islands will be overflowing with tourists. The Ionian islands are, as a rule, greener than the Aegean ones, though often not any less busy. If you want to avoid high traffic, pick an island that has less convenient transportation links!! Avoid islands with airports. :)

By the way, the blue and white look you are talking about is more prevalent in the Aegean than in the Ionian.

The most picturesque island in greece is Kefalonia. The greenest Island in the Ionian, Argostoli is the capitol and still has 1800-early 1900 feel to it... From the top of Ainos you can see almost the enitre Island... must visit the underground lake of Melisani (God's most beautiful creation on earth) and the port village of Friskado...the most beautiful island of all Greece

Almost all Greek islands are picturesque, and not all in the stereotypical white-blue sense. Islands of the Ionian Sea for instance such as Corfu are completely different, with distinct architecture to what you usually find in the Aegean Sea.

My favorite, most picturesque island though is in the Aegean Sea. It is called Symi, and you can reach it by boat from Rhodes (another beautiful island).

Symi is a small island, and just about as picturesque and "traditional" as it gets. The food is wonderful as well. Check out the links for pictures.

Ionian islands are the greenest - Lefkada is beautiful (avoid Nidri can get busy and noisy - not pretty but fun!) - rest of the island is lovely.
As I always say - the most beautiful for me is Ipirus (mainland) Preveza/Parga (and beyond) all 25km of coastline between the 2 - Very green and mountainous! The most incredible scenery I've ever seen!
Santorini/Myconos and some islands mentioned above are dry and barren - not green as you suggested.

Try Corfu that's very green. If by calm streets you mean not much traffic well you'll be out of luck there but you can walk the streets safely.

It doesn't have much in the way of ancient relics but it's well worth the visit.

Lefkada is very nice too and when I was there not too much traffic. I liked the fact that lots of people travelled about on bicyles.

Hydra is the best after Santorini (with the blue and white). Hydra is very beautiful and surprisingly quiet for a tourist spot.

I think Corfu is the picturesque island by far (it is an incredibly beautiful city too!). If I had to give number two I would choose Skopelos.

The most picturesque island in Greece is Corfu and it has all you look for.

To be frank I'm biased because that is where I was born and live and to me this island is the best in Greece. But let's be frank, all the islands in Greece have their charectristic points that makes them different from the others. Yet you asked for the non blue colour, characteristic to most Aegean islands, but dear even that carries its own beauty.

Then next to my personal liking is the ilsand of Crete with its diverse scenery and landscape from baren land to fully green and magnificent places of interest.
