He's the much hyped freshman that plays for USC.

I have seen three of his games. My opinion so far is that he is not as selfish as some critics made him out to be. Also he is a much better passer than critics have said. One area that needs work is his man defense. When USC has played zone he has succeeded, but when in man defense he often gets put on the weakest offensive talent. Morrison was the same and you saw how his defense held up last season for the Bobcats. He is a great offensive talent, but I would draft Beasley from Kansas State over Mayo any day.

He has been very good and has lived up to the hype so far. He is still getting a feel for the game; you will see his true shills and dominance when USC plays a good team.

He is lightening quick and is scoring up a storm...the only thing he isn't playing or filling the hype is his ability to pass...He seems too focused on his scoring and doesn't get his team involved, hopefully he changes this aspect in his game, as a pg you should think pass first then score...but as scoring goes, he has the tools....

Very good talent. Still getting a feel for the college game but he is going to a beast later this year. I'm pumped!
