For the most part, I find flirtation to be flattering and rather fun, but if someone becomes excessive, for example, we're conversing and he/she will ONLY dally away about me, I will comically ask him/her to please talk about something other than myself.
Fortunately, that doesn't happen often, I usually come across people who can flirt for fun or are mentally stimulating, both of which are nice.

(rolling eyes) omg there was this taxi driver who picked me up from my parents house and it was night time and he was macking on me like there was no tomorrow! I *thought* he was doing this because he wanted a bigger tip, but NOOOOO....he actually said, "I'm REALLY into you! What'd you think?" and I waited until he took me home (he even told me that he lived across the street from me!) I told him that he was a scumbag and that I have my standards. Whoa, he was MAD. THEN I found out he was married. (One of the other drivers told me) Unfortunately, I got him again (he only drives nights) (btw, I have epilepsy so I'm not allowed to drive) and I thought I'd toy with him. Heh heh. I said, "Sooooo....I heard some juicy gossip about you...." he pounced on it and said, "What? Who told you? What did they say?" I said, "Oh, it was nothing...don't freak out..." and he was practically frothing at the mouth at this point, and I said, "Well, it looks like you've been married, for 10 years!" He had the cheek to shrug his shoulders and said, "Well, I get lonely out here ya know" ( he's from NYC) and I didn't say a THING. He kept jabbering away and then said, "You must think I'm a real jerk." and I waited until he dropped me off. He said, "Look, I'm really into you. Whaddya think?" I basically said something to him that I cannot repeat here and laughed all the way upstairs! Ha ha. He won't be bothering ME again.

Every effing day. I don't know how to discourage them, just try to make it clear you're not interested I guess. And don't respond to the flirting, it will only encourage them.

At a bar. The guy was very persistent, even though I lied and told him I had a boyfriend. After a minute or so of defending myself- telling him I didn't want to dance or for him to buy me a drink, etc.- I just completely ignored him all together. And then my guy friend came by and saved me. Haha.

Before I got married. Now the wedding ring keeps them away.
I'm a teacher (of adults), so I get i get it from time to time. I just ignore it. More annoying is when gays hit on me or look at me, but I just ignore that too.

Last friday! The same kid does it like every day! and i honestly wouldn't go out with if he was the last boy on earth! I am a freshman, he is a senior and isn't nearly my type! I like skinny boys with muscle or bulky tall boys with muscle and this boy is about the same height as me and he is fat! I try to be nice but he gets so irritating, every time i see him he is constantly poking me and its just sooo retarded! ahhhh gosh, boiz r gay!

It's been recent. I'm just honest, and tell them I have a man and can only be friends. But I like to have fun with one guy I know who is the sweetest and most sensitive person I know.

Wow, that happens to people? Just kidding! It's been a while and I politely said that I don't return the interest. So leave me be!

It was about 3 years ago. A woman that I worked with. I told her that I had a girlfriend and that I only dated Italian women. She was African-American so after I told her this, she left me alone.
