With love ... anything is possible.
As long as you realize that even "true love" takes work then I believe and have seen this to be totally true.
My grandma and grandpa = 60+ years.
My nana and grandad = 50+ years.
My dad and step-mom = 30+ years.
My aunt and uncle = 40 + years
My aunt and uncle = 30 + years
My aunt and uncle = 25 years
I could go on. I have 4 other aunts and uncles that have been married for at least 20 years.
So you see? It is possible. Not easy ... but completely possible. I think it has everything to do with the person and their willingness to make love work. People usually bail out of a relationship because they think the grass is greener on the other side. But I had a friend once tell me that "The grass is greener where you water it the most..."
That, I think, is as true as it gets my friend.
Peace and true love to you ...

Yes you can be in love with the same person all your life. It is important to remember that love changes over the years. For instance, when you are first dating you feel butterflies and you just can't stop thinking about that special someone. Then later you still love the person but you don't have the exact same feelings as before bc you now have a more mature form of love.

No you can't be 'in love' with the same person all your life but you can love that person all your life. I think there is a big difference from being 'in love' in the beginning of a relationship people change over the years and you have to grow with a person.

Does 38 years count? I didn't meet him for the first 18 but I'm still as much 'in love' with him as I was then! I don't know how long I have left but I'm sure I'll still be 'in love' with him the day I die!
In case you haven't guessed I'm talking about MY Hubby! The advantage is that after all this time I'm 'in' love with the man I love!

Yes, I have been in love with my husband since I was 16 and we are now in our forties with 4 children. At times pressures of time/money draw us apart but the foundations are solid and we both give 100% to our children. It is all about give and take and committment through thick and thin.

I guess it's possible.
But I don't think it has happened to a lot of people.
The person you think you love today may be the person
you dump a year from now.
Just like Forest Gump Said..
"Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your gonna get"

Yes definitely, i have been married more than 27 years and i am still in love with my husband and I think he is still in love with me ( well he better be!!!) there are times when I don't like him very much and him me but I think that is natural we soon get over it. Whatever your reason for asking this question is....good luck

Hey Hun,
Usually You''ll 'Think' You are in love with more than one person, But it's usually just infautuation.
Most people Only LOVE 2 or 3 of their boy/girlfriends
It would be far better to only love one person becasue Then you wouldnt have to think twice everytime you seeone of your exes ( you loved) , And you wouldnt have to choose between people, =] xoxo
