You are not overweight trust me!!! I am 13 5'4 and I wiegh 123 pounds. Im not fat I am actually really skinny I wear size 1 jeans and small in every brand. The thing is muscle wighs a lot moe thn body fat. I play soccer 3 times a week for an hour. Volley ball for 2 hours and i run 2-3 miles a week.
My body fat is 16%. The other part is muscle and that is what makesme weigh sooo much.
It is probably mostly muscle but even if it isnt your still average almost underavergae for your age.
If you are looking to lost 5 pounds give up bread for 1 month. That means no pizza no cookies ect. I did it for 3 moths and I lost 15 pounds 2 years ago. I know it seems hard but you can start of by like 1 week with no bread and u will see how easy it is and eventually u will want to do it longer and longer.

Hun, You are NOT fat at ALL. An ideal weight for you is 130 pounds. In other words, you are absolutely perfect! You do NOT need to lose weight at all, but going for a 20 minutes walk 3 times a week and drinking more water can help the way you feel about yourself. Also, you are a 15 year old girl! Your body is changing and filling out. You no longer have the body of a 10 year old girl, and you won't have her weight either. Also, 5'6 is not a tiny height, and you will weigh more than a friend who is say, 5'3. I am 5'8 and weigh around 123 pounds, and I have many friends who weigh 105 Pounds, but are only 5'2. You need to understand that your weight is in proportion to your height! And, In my opinion, girls look so much healthier and better when they are not stick and look as if you can break them in half. You are perfect just the way you are, and if anyone says otherwise, just expect them to go into rehab in a few years anyway,

Whoa, you are not at all fat. Trust me, you don't need to loose weight. And you're only 15, you're still growing. Maybe not height-wise, but everything else is still growing/developing. Do some running if you feel "fat" some days. But you are not fat, so don't worry so much. And that girl that said you could lose a couple lbs, I'm sorry, but I strongly disagree. Not trying to be rude, but 115lbs at 5'6''? That's fucking skinny. It's not bad, but don't try to make that your goal or anything. It;s not necessary.

I'm 15 and 5'6" too! I weigh 115lbs. You should probably be 115-120 lbs. You don't need to lose much weight. Just do cardio-exercise, like jogging. And work out in the gym. Don't eat fast foods/junk foods, esp right before you sleep.
Btw, "average" on the charts is actually pretty fat sometimes. I've seen a lot of unhealthy, fat people who are told they are average. Doctors are paranoid about eating disorders.

I'm 5"7' and I'm 120 but I think your a healthy weight. if you want to lose weight try going to the gym and not eating as many carbs suger and fatty foods as you used to hope that helps!

You are not overweight. If you feel like you are a little soft, you would do better to exercise a little more and turn the fat into muscle than to lose anything completely.

thats like the same exact stats as me. and NO UR NOT!!! i went thru this same confusion. and now, i dont really pay attention to the weight anymore. just as long as i look good! :D

NO! you aren't overweight at all! you are just right. if you want to lose weight, just eat healthy food and exercise! muscle is always good! :)
