I am in Northern California and will change jobs in a few days. I have already gave my current employer 2 weeks notice, and I want to know will I get paid for my accrued PTO (paid time off) on my last day? Or will it be included in my last pay check? Are they going to pay all of the PTO hours, or they can pay me only a fraction of it? Or do I need to request it?

In California, the employer must pay the employee for all accrued time that the employee has earned while working there.

Whether it appears on your last check or a separate check is up to the employer. If you have any problems contact the California Labor Commission.

That is entirely up to your employer. Some will pay you for accrued PTO, vacation time, and unused sick pay while others will not. I've personally had it go both ways. Sometimes I got an unexpected windfall and other times the rule was that it was "use it or lose it" and it wasn't paid upon termination of employment.

Nobody here can answer your question; you must ask your employer.
