The Qur’an says that only Allah knows the sex of the child in the womb of the mother but now science has advanced and we can easily determine the sex of the child in the womb by ultrasonography. Isn’t this verse of the Qur’an conflicting with medical science?

k in the bible there are little to none contradictions, there are actually predictions in the bible thats y to me its more believable than the QURAN. even though it was long back when it was written, if he truly was a prophet of god he would have had some kind of predictions and would have known he wasnt the only one who would ever know the sex of a child, hell any nurse or anyone who studies it may know

Perhaps no phrase in Scripture has been so controversial as the phrase, "the four corners of the earth." The word translated "corners," as in the phrase above, is the Hebrew word, KANAPH. Kanaph is translated in a variety of ways. However, it generally means extremity. It is translated "borders" in Numbers 15:38. In Ezekiel 7:2 it is translated "four corners" and again in Isaiah 11:12 "four corners." Job 37:3 and 38:13 as "ends." The Greek equivalent in Revelation 7:1 is gonia. The Greek meaning is perhaps more closely related to our modern divisions known as quadrants. Gonia literally means angles, or divisions. It is customary to divide a map into quadrants as shown by the four directions. Some have tried to ridicule the Bible to say that it teaches that the earth is square. The Scripture makes it quite clear that the earth is a sphere (Isaiah 40:22).
Some have tried to say there are four knobs, or peaks on a round earth. Regardless of the various ways kanaph is translat

The Qur'an has many falsehoods in it. Don't believe everything you read, hear, or see.

I'm not the most religious person, but at the time that the Bible described the 'four corners of the earth' it was thought that the earth was flat.

Also, like a poster said previously, the Bible has been rewritten several times. The King James version has more holes than swiss cheese. Books were left out and translations were done inaccurately...too many flaws to name.

seriously how can you think that the bible is more believable than the Qu'ran. Christians believe that Jesus died then came back to life i mean come on. lets get real here the bible is just a book of little truth and if it was ever truthful then it has been rewritten beyond recognition.

i'm not a muslim, but i know it didn't conflict with medical science when it was writen, or for 1,500 years after. is that your only current argument against the qur'an? why dont you look into the philosophical views and see what good things are in that book, and not use one out of date sentance to attack the beliefs of alot of good people?

When it was written it was true. It just shows that ALL religions need to advance with the times or they die.
