Hmmm... I never thought about that before. But Probably a 3-way tie in my opinion.
Richard Burton- He was probably the first internationally known person to draw attention to Wales.
Tom Jones- He seemed to make it a point in past interviews to proudly remind everyone that he's from Wales.
Catherine Zeta-Jones- She seems to be carrying the torch passed on by the two I mentioned above.

The late, great,unequaled poet Dylan Thomas, and of course Father Feck. If Enya was Welsh I would nominate her as well. But she's Irish.

Well it was my mum; but she is no longer here.
She lived a few doors away from the young Tom Jones.
When he made it big she was so pleased. But she admitted she had always fancied him anyway!!!
I think Richard Burton and Dylan Thomas must be up there on the list. After my mum of course!

how come loads of peopl in wales have the surname jones?...kelly jones..tom jones...catherine zeta jones...aled jones... the list goes on - my mate is from wales too and he is called paul jones!! shirley basey is pretty cool...so is charlotter church! what about dawn french and bonnie tyler? oh god i cant decide! too many cool welsh people :) i think i'll say carol vorderman :)
