I feel sure if your with BT your at your maximum. Have you contacted them to find out. I dont think changing providers will make much difference. It all depends on certain factors. ie how far you are from the exchange, the condition of the wiring at your premises and so on. Phone them.

The other users are correct... it depends on many factors but two are.. the quality of the infastructure and distance between you and the exchange. You'll need to ask BT if they are doing something to increase the quality of your service.. if not perhaps you should look to see if Virgin (fibre optic connections are usually more likely to be faster.. but that not garenteed as it depends on how many people in your are has it) and there online service could be better. companies usually respond with the potential of losing customers.... money.

Speed depends on how far you are from the main exchange,I live 5miles away and only get 575kps, but i'm told booster is in the pipeline...

update your internet to a much better one go to there official home site and ask for more detail or find it out on there site
