I am still dumbfounded when people ask what they should do.. jesus christ, this is your future and you are asking us what to do? It doesn't matter where you get your undergrad as long as you have good grades, you don't need a major and a minor but if you want both a major in chem and a minor in bio would be a little bit better because truthfully med school requires higher chem courses than it does bio, if you minor in chem you won't take some of the classes you need.

Go to an in-state school. Tuition is often half the price of out-of-state schools.

As for your majors and minors, you have a long time to decide. I'm a bio major and chem minor, though, and things are working out well for me.

Ok do they have Pre Med and KU.? If they do take that. If not take Chem. and bio. Get all the courses you can in both Chem and Bio.
Or better yet find out from where you are planning on going to medical school what courses they want you to have then concentrate on those courses.
