They both wanted out of wrestling because they didn't like wrestling. They just used the business to make some money and then get out. I for one will never miss either of them. I prefer wrestlers that actually like and respect the business.

Brock left to pursue a football career which failed badly.
Goldberg and WWE had a disagreement about the creative side because WWE weren' t booking him as a monster like WCW did and WWE didn't see it in the best financial interests

BROCK ASKED HIS RELEASE MONTHS BEFORE MANIA CUZ HE WANTED TO TRY OUT FOOTBALL SINCE HE DID IT ALL ON WWE ND GOLDBERG JUST FELT HE DIDNT HAVE THAT TALENT ANYMORE [he tought he was old] SO HE WANTED TO STOP WRESTLING FOR HIS HEALTH.....BROCK TRIED OUT IN MEMPHIS FOR NFL BUT DIDNT MAKE IT [lmao] SO HE DID MMA ND DID IT ALL IN MMA ND NOW HES IN UFC....YEA!!!!!
