Probably something by Sigur Ros, maybe "Saeglopur", or "Staralfur". In fact, "Motion Picture Soundtrack" by Radiohead would be perfect too.

I hope the movie has a happy ending :)

Edit:
I know, it would be a good way to end a movie right?
Hey, look what I found on YouTube! It does work well.

Edit:
Just thought of another song that might work well. "Stay Golden" by Au Revoir Simone. I don't know why, but all the songs I've chosen are a bit melancholy...

Or maybe "Our Life Is Not A Movie Or Maybe" by Okkervil River.

I'd like to have Beethoven playing, but with a rock/metal theme. Kinda like Trans Siberian Orchestra's "Beethoven's Last Night"... but without the Broadway singing. As to why, that's the hard part. I sorta feel more in tune with Beethoven and his creativity than other artists. The way he'd do, and redo, and how it wouldn't all come spilling out at once, I don't see the man stuck in the stone, art isn't just an intellectual puzzle... It isn't all about emotion, yet that's what captures people right off. And the anger and work... lots of anger and work. And of course the rock/metal would be almost a distortion of his work, but also a conversation with it. It isn't just lifted up off the pages, but understood in a different way. I think all art is about communication. Of course I've never heard it Jazzed up, and maybe that would work a bit better.

Sorry But It's Over by dredg
not really
most likely The Canyon Behind Her. Cause this is how the mood will be at the end: powerful, frustrated, and ready.
Other songs I had considered, but I thought they would work better during other scenes.

Joe - Wow, great Eno choice! Actually he's going to compose the score for my life. Oh if only.

They already made one....LOL

Its called "Drumline". I relate so very much to the main character in the movie because had an bad attitude problem, but could mean solos. He was so misunderstood so much a lot of people doubted him, persecuted, accused him of being a goofoff because he couldnt read music. He showed them all wrong in the end....=) He knew in his heart of hearts that he truly could play, with or without the sheet music. It came down to faith, hard work, dedication, devotion & belief in his drumming skills. You see, I can't read music that well, but it never stopped me from putting down the drumstix...=)
thaty is sucha great movie and I live watching it when I can. I'm not tired of it because I see so much of myself in the main character Devin that it that it terrifies me.

Surely this is a metaphor for death right..?

As my credits roll these two songs would play:

La Mer by Nine Inch Nails

then:

Ascent (An Ending) by Brian Eno

Truckin' by the Grateful Dead
or
Winding Road by Bonnie Somerville
or
Let Go by Frou Frou, but that one would probably be in the begining of the movie.

The Laughing Gnome by David Bowie. "Ha ha ha, hee hee hee 'I'm a laughing gnome and you can't catch me'...."

:-)

Okay, if I wanted to be serious it would probably be Don't Let It Bring You Down by Neil Young. You would have to watch the movie though before you really understood why I chose that song in particular. So, when I become a bestselling author and a movie is made about my life you'll have to watch it. I'll have them call it "Isis" (because I will be in charge of the movie, or else it won't be made) so you know it's about me.
