If you don't win your conference, your should not have a prayer in hell of reaching the title game.
For those of your who think Kansas should go, who did they play? The only quality team they played all year was Missouri, who beat them!
For those of you who think Georigia should go, they, like Kansas, didn't even win their division.
The only valid argument in this case would be for USC, Oklahoma, or LSU to go. All those teams won their conference and have two losses.
If you think Hawaii should go, walk outside, and play in traffic...because you are an idiot.

I agree totally..Georgia COULDN'T even get to the SEC Conference game...so I am laughing my butt off at them for all their fit throwing....
I can't wait for the BCS to come out tonight..People are gonna be pissed and upset all over the place....
But they need to also bear in mind,,,with the BCS it is all about the money, not who really is numbers 1 and 2,,,or Ohio wouldn't be there with their weak schedule either....

As far as not winning your division and going to title game.. I would refer you to the NC game following the '00 season played in Jan '01. It was in the Rose Bowl that year and Miami soundly beat a Nebraska team that did not win the Big12 North that year.... Just like kansas this year...So precedence gives that prayer....
USC? who was their quality game... gotta go outside conference to compare... conference games are a wash.
Oklahoma? same question
LSU? played 1 and did nicely but they still lost to 2 teams that should not have been close
VaTECH? was the LSU victim...
Personally I think it should be OSU vs Kansas as the only 1 loss teams in the country.... with Hawaii being the only possible interloper,, for being undefeated albeit in a mid major conference
booman- the beats each other up argument is old and lame.... all conferences have that same problem.
look at non conference record and bowl eligibility.. and Big 10 is equal in those... as far as H2H Big 10 over last 5 years has a slight edge on SEC
And to answer the no conference title game argument.. Do the SEC fans realize that the last 2 years now (assuming LSU does go to the NC) That the conference title game was the only reason their conference was in the discussion to go?

Ohio and LSU are the only logical two selections based on the current system. Are they the best two teams in the country? Who knows for sure. At this point in the year I believe UGA, LSU, USC and OK are the strongest teams in the land. I think we should have up to three #1s at the end of the year if any of the four or Ohio win their final games. I don't think Ohio will be able to beat any of the four mentioned. Geaux Tigers!!!!!! and SEC is the best conference.

USC is ranked 8th, OK is ranked 9th, and LSU is ranked 7th! GA is ranked 4th. GA has beat 4 ranked opponets, 3 of which were double digit wins!
The number 1 and 2 teams lost the final game of season. Simple math tells ya that number 3 and 4 teams play for the championship. By the way.. teams do NOT have to win their division or conference!!! nuff said!!

USC does not play a conference championship game, so you can count them out. LSU played seven ranked teams and beat all seven, Oklahoma played three ranked teams.
All this is a mute point the USA today and AP polls have Ohio State No 1. and LSU No. 2 so there is your NC game. You can blame it on whom ever you choose to blame it on, but you can not blame it on the teams. They did not set up the system, the media and the money grubbers set it up. Good luck to the Buckeyes and the Tigers.

LSU defeated an non-conference winning Oklahoma team and left room for a split title with USC, Non conference title winners in a BCS champ. game may lead to another split title and who wants that. LSU and USC still hate each other for that happening

Kansas yes, Georgia no. It's called the SEC, the most dominant conference in football. They beat each other up each week. Georgia lost the tie breaker to Tennessee and didn't get to go to the conference Championship game. So what, they were ranked 4th in the nation last week and deserved to be there. The SEC is so much better than any other conference, it is a non factor.
Georgia
LSU
Tennessee
Florida
Auburn
Kentucky
Alabama
S. Carolina
Please, at least 5 of those teams would be in other conference championship games. Georgia is getting screwed plain and simple. I pity the team that has to play them in their bowl game.

Kansas performed the 104th rated agenda contained in the rustic so their in basic terms loss counted for alot because this is being considered because the in basic terms time they performed a "sturdy" crew. in the adventure that that they had a better effective agenda one or 2 losses may be forgiven. human beings want to run smack on Ohio State's agenda yet they have a correct 50 agenda power as does another correct ten crew, Kansas loses out on that foundation on my own.

lol everyone keeps bringing up, "Oh, they didn't win their division.....blah blah blah......" HORSE S HIT! There is no rule that says you have to so why bring it up? And how the F uck do you suppose teams who are ranked 3+ spots behind us deserve to go?! Tell that s hit to the 01' Cornhuskers and the 03 Sooners. THEY WENT! SO why shouldn't Georgia?! LSU has had two shots, and lost BOTH! Why should they get another?! Georgia deserves it. They busted their *** for it, so I believe they should get it. Putt LSU in the Rose Bowl with USC.
