Nortons is a hugh resource hog and not really good at finding any viruses. They are just skilled in slick marketing.

I am quite sure that Nortons only allows you to have one registry key for one pc. If you intend installing Nortons on another pc, you will have to purchase a second key.

Plus you will have to renew every year the cost of protection for two computers.

You should use what I use Twister Trojan Antivirus out of Beijing, China. And used by the Govt., of China. You only pay a one time fee for life of $29.99 and you will get auto. updates daily and all new versions for life. Same with this antivirus, one key for one pc. You can test for thirty days with a thirty day key provided with download at: http://www.filseclab.com

Or you can install a good free antivirus like, Avast with auto updates an all new versions for free. http://www.avast.com

You will play hell trying to remove Nortons, well known to leave atleast 375 fragments glued to your registry, files and folders. This in itself will cause serious conflict. Add/Remove, does not remove the entire Nortons file. You only think it has been removed from your system.

It knows it's time is up, because that's what the little code is for. So you have too options, you need to buy a new one, as you have to once a year or go with AVG which is free no matter what and works just the same.

I've been using it for a while now, I used to use norton and I have had no problems with it at all. My computer runs fine, no virus's.
