1. Yes, it's possible, though most begin teething at around 4-6 months.

2. No! Babies should be held as much as possible.

teething is very unlikely but possible at this early an age.
I don't think you can spoil a baby at such a young age but you can set up some bad habits that will be hard to break if you are doing it from birth. In other words, you do not need to hold your baby all the time especially if he's sleeping. That being said, you do need to respond in some way any time he cries. That is his way of calling to you and letting you know that he needs you. At this age, you should always respond to a crying baby. If you happen to have a very contented quite baby and he isn't crying for you, you should still be holding him and talking and playing with him when he's awake.

i dont think you can really spoil a 2 week old because they naturally need more comfort. i always held my baby up until around 4 months and he hardly wants to be held at 9 months.

2 week old teething? im not sure about this but i know babies are born with teeth already its just under the gums.

No a 2 week old baby cannot be teething and no your 2 week old baby can not be spoiled from being held too much. That's what we are for when they are that little. To comfort and love them. Usually around 3-6 months babies can put two and two together and think hey when I cry I get what I want but you can still hold them then. There's nothing wrong with that. It's your preference and your judgement call on when they are playing you. Babies are smart!!

yes can be teething
NO cannot be spoiled!

You cant start spoiling a baby until they know how to manipulate you. Which doesnt start till around 9 months to a year old.

My son was a tad on the spoiled side till i realized i was running to his every little cry. When my daughter tried getting me to hold her 24/7 (or she'd throw a stomping fit) i simply sat down on the floor and she'd walk away. Problem solved in a week.

You learn.

Babies that young (newborn) need attention ALL the time.

The teething at that stage is very unlikely, but then not entirely unheard of.

And, no, you can't spoil a new-born by holding them too much. They're pretty much unspoilable until about 4 months at the earliest. So enjoy holding your baby. I've read the more you hold them and respond to their needs at this point, the more secure they'll feel as they grow and will feel better about being put down later on.

theoretically, it's possible regarding the teething.

regarding the holding- NO. Your baby was 'held' every moment for ten months.
The first three months of life are also called 'the fourth trimester". Except for in so-called 'first world' countries where every thing has been delegated to a substitute, it is typical for babies to be kept in constant close contact to their mother/ caregiver for AT LEAST three months.

You can't spoil an infant with love and care. Could YOU be 'spoiled' by being appropriately cared for?

My husband was born with a tooth. So it is possible, though unlikely.

Is your baby crying all the time? Is that why you think he/she is teething?

You can't spoil a little baby. Babies need to learn how to bond and attach by having their needs met. Their want are their needs. By attending to your baby's cry, you are teaching him/her that you are there for him and that he can trust you.

Wait until he is two before you worry about spoiling. Its all about setting limits (saying what you mean and sticking to it). This isn't possible at this age.

Held baby all time for 2week old it Normal. your child might be want affection. Why now talk to him/her when laying on bed or on swing or on play mat area be near to your child talk and play with her/him. Or you child could be stomach upset or something bothering her/him. 2 week old it still a child already walk then by that time not need held all time just when it necessary to be held. smile!
