Many people Credit "The Surge" for Recent Successes In Iraq, In my Opinion, Most Credit Goes to the Iraqi people Evolving.

The only politician I trust is Dennis Kucinich (of the contenders at this point in time). Dennis is the only one who was against the war from the get-go; he also voted against the Patriot Act, has a workable plan for universal health coverage, and he wants out of Iraq now.
The man has integrity; his voting record shows that he has always stood up for the working man and woman. He voted against a pay raise for Congress. He pissed a lot of people off.
EDIT:
King, you are a kool-aid drinking son of gun, now aren't you? "Positive about the war"? Are you talking about this war? You can't be serious.
Oh, my bad. You were talking about press coverage. Unfortunately, the body count far outweighs the benefits to be plundered in Iraq; unless the neocons have something sinister brewing...
Anyone seen Osama Bin Laden recently?

Yes, it is working. Even Jack Murtha who is very anti-war admits the surge is working. Deaths have been down and we are making progress. I'm against the war but I can recognize some tactics are working.

Well,
Military and civilian casualties are down to their lowest level since March of 2006.
Some Iraqis who fled to Syria and Jordan are returning back to their neighborhoods.
I think the surge is working.

the surge only works, because the Sunni's make it work, don't forget though, the Sunni's are the ones we went in to topple in the first place.

I think that the down turn in violence is because Al-Sadr is standing down for now, like it or not once he decides to start it again the casualties will flow once more

To me that shows that we are the ones doing all the terrorism but I'm crazy because we don't do acts of terrorism to get people to like us for fighting terrorism.

The liberal mainstream media would never report anything positive about the war unless it's so overwhelmingly true that they couldn't avoid it. So the fact that they are actually now saying that it's working it must be working unbelievably well.
