I don't get snowed in, but I'm sure there are ways you can entertain yourself

Love being snowed in, we spend our time reading and playing great long games of Monopoly and just enjoy each others company.

My husband and I enjoy cooking, and end up inviting close neighbors over to share meals and have even taken food to older neighbors using snowshoes and the kids sled....

When we do get snowed in, we are on a private road and cannot get out until the town roads are safely plowed...so we make it an adventure every time.

We will always pray for the people that are out working in the storm, plowing and restoring power...working hard so the rest of us can resume our day to day lives when the storm passes.

It's a great time to complete a lot of little projects that never seem to get finished.

Be safe and enjoy.

Merry Christmas.

I love being snowed in. Really snowed in so that you are stuck inside for a few days it makes great fun playing games making crafts and I love cooking so it is nice and warm and cozy inside. But the cold and the ugly dirt on the snow later is so sad looking grey skies and all. I am glad it does not snow here but when I lived it Utah we got slammed all the time!

I don't mind getting snowed in for a few days!
I don't even mind if we lose power--we have wood heat so no matter what, we will stay warm and be able to eat.
It would not get boring, we have a lot of board games and arts and craft things to do.

The only thing that does bother me, is the lack of HOT water for a bath/washing hair.

I LOVE it....home from work, kids home from school, shucks, they close school here at the possibility of a flake falling. But when it does snow us in....everything is all quiet and peaceful....we venture outside to play, go walking thru the woods, feeding birds, enjoying hot chocolate adn snow-cream (of course, I like adding jello to the snow for a fruity twist) and if the power goes out, that just adds to the adventure.....
