You can get little felt pads that stick to the bottom of the item, in your case the tv, and they prevent scratching. You should be able to purchase them in any good hardware/ DIY store!

Try going to the dollar store or any arts and crafts store and buy those circular, felt padding stickers used to protect furniture from scratches. You may also find them at Home Depot or Lowes, depending on where you live.

Another option is covering that area of your dresser with some sort of pretty fabric or foam matting sold by the roll- you can find this at Walmart in the kitchen accessories aisle.

Hope this helps!

The key to any relationship, romantic or otherwise, is talking. I recommend you ask him- if there's a problem then the two of you should talk it out. And if he won't talk about it or work to fix it, then I would have a serious think about whether you are happy in this relationship. Whilst sex shouldn't be the cornerstone of a relationship, it is an important part for most people, and if you two can't discuss problems like this, how will you talk on more difficult issues? If he's making you unhappy and won't try and work out your differences, I would suggest game over. But make sure you make an effort to talk to him first, in a neutral place, and where you can be honest and open and talk for as long as you need. Good luck!

A 1/4 inch glass plate. Do not use cloth materials or paper products as they will damage the wood's surface over time. A glass shop will cut and finish a piece of your desired dimensions and give you the required spacers as well.

A piece of glass has been ''custom cut for this top and is nearly invisable. As you can see the owner no longer has to worry about what can be placed on the dresser anymore.

I have a towel under mine. You can also go to Wal Mart or something like that and get these felt pads that go under furniture to protect wood floors. I know that Wal Mart has them in several sizes, some 1" round ones that would be perfect for your tv.

Get a piece of plexi-glass cut a tad larger than the TV for underneath it. Look also for a turn table to place underneath so you can turn it and not worry about scratches.

I placed a square of old carpet on mine about six or seven years ago. It has not scratched. By the way it was not foam backed because that would have perished by now
