You can blame it on injuries or being old or whatever. I don't care about the past of Mcnabb, but in the last couple of years, it is clear that he just isn't all that talented anymore. The eagles have a record of 14-9 when he is injured... That means that the Back up has won well over half the games played, while in the last two years Mcnabb, can't even when half the games in a season. Mcnabb has been injured in each of the last three seasons. He should call it a career while he still has some dignity... and the ability to walk, his health is obviously in question when he misses games every season.

JMM, because current production has zero to do with the past. Troy Aikman, John Elway, or Terry Bradshaw, may be some of the best QB's ever, that doesn't mean I want one of them to play for my team this year. Mcnabb is past his prime, he is injury prone, and for whatever reason unable to compete at the level he used to.

How can you not care about McNabb's past when arguing which one of the two is the better QB. Feeley is and never will be anything more then a backup QB. What did he do when he left the Eagles the first time and was a starter in the NFL? Nothing! He proved that he can't play at a high level. I think McNabb's problem is when he is playing the Eagles want him to do too much, they throw the ball way too much and don't utilize Westbrook's running ability when McNabb is playing. If the Eagles would run their offense the way they did with Garcia last year when McNabb is playing I think he would be fine. All in all A.J. Feeley isn't even close to a healthy McNabb. Look at Feeley's two games this year interceptions lost the game for the Eagles against the Patriots and today against Seattle two picks that have led to touchdowns.

Edit: I am writing this after A.J. Feeley threw his 4th pick of the game and just lost another game for the Eagles. Thanks for making my point A.J. Anyway McNabb is 30 years old which actually puts him in his prime not past it. Well for a team to bring back the Q.B.'s you mentioned would be ridiculous because they are old and have been out of football for years. McNabb is coming back from a serious knee injury that usually takes longer then a year to come back from so I am not ready to say he will never be able to play at a high level again. Look at John Elway, he didn't win his first Super Bowl until he was 37 years old. I'm not saying McNabb is John Elway but McNabb is still better then A.J. Feeley and A.J. proved my point today as he threw 4 interceptions and two of them led to early Seattle touchdowns.

Well my personal opinion is they should let McNabb go because he gets injured way too much. He just isn't as healthy as he use to be and thats a shame because the Eagles really are talented. But you have to look at how a player will play in the post season and if Feely can be that QB to win every game and not just one game every once in a while. I think we need to see how he does today and maybe even next week before you can make the switch. But if it was up to me, I would have dropped McNabb a lone time ago.

I'm not much of a McNabb fan but I'm even less of a Feeley fan. Feeley is one of those turds that plays just good enough to get you all excited then turns into garbage.

One game doesnt prove that Feeley is a better back, but they should give him another chance to show off what he may be able to do, McNabb has been their main QB so they want to stick with him apparently.

Philly is a black city. Having a white QB will hurt ticket sales and draw attention from the NAACP.

It's a sad reality of today's society
