Two years probably has not given you enough experience and training for an agent to be interested in you . If you are under 18, your parents will have to get an agent for you.

just because you've only been doing drama for 2 years, doesn't mean you aren't ready. don't listen to people who tell you that. You do however need to make sure you really want to do it because it's time consuming and very demanding. If you are like me and can think of nothing else but acting and know that the only way you are ever going to be happy is to follow your dream, then go for it! Getting an agent can be hard, you can get turned down, but don't get upset, it will happen more often than not. just remember some important things and you'll be fine. First, NEVER and I mean NEVER pay an agent that says they will represent you. they get paid when you get paid. You'll also need headshots, I would recommend using a professional photographer on your own, that does retouching and knows what headshots need to be like, instead of opting for some of the higher priced ones some agents refer you too. finding an agent can be tricky too depending on where you live, obviously if you live in CA it would be easier but if you live in the midwest or in a small town it can be extremely difficult. If you are under 18 have your parents help you, you will need your families support no matter what age you are, but your parents or legal guardians should be behind you if you are underage. A good thing to do is to search in your area through a phone book, or even google by typing in the search area "talent agencies near (your cities name)" then you can call these and find out how they like to operate. the ones I went to before I found mine set up appointments to meet with you and take measurments, talk with you about contracts, etc. etc. Like I said, it can be demanding, but also rewarding. If this is what you really want, go for it, and don't let anyone discourage you. Good luck and I hope you go far.

Two years isn't very long. You might want to look into it after 6 or more years.
