OKay so I have this friend who I really like but recently she started shoplifting. She got loads of stuff for me but I'm so scared but I don't want to tell her to stop because I'm scared she might think I'm stupid or something. I'm scared now and I don't know what to do because I am religious (Christian) and I know it's wrong to steal. What should I do with the stuff she gave me and what should I do next time she starts stealing?? Please and for religious people, what should I do to let God be able to forgive me?

WHAT DO I DO WITH THE STUFF?! I am too scared to go to bed until I know what to do with it. It's loads of make up and things and I can't give it back now cuz it's too late. Should I just throw it away?

Give the stolen stuff back to her and tell her you can't accept it. Tell her you appreciate her being so generous but it is wrong to steal and it will be only a matter of time before she is caught. Know what else? When she is caught, she will tell them about all the stolen items you have. You are an accessory, just like you helped her then. You will also be in trouble. Give everything back today and tell her you don't want any stolen items.

Honesty is the best policy. If you truly are a friend then let this friend know that you cannot accept these "gifts". Irregardless of what the person thinks you are protecting yourself from receiving stolen property a misdemeanor. God's word is clear: He detests sin. It also says if you bring the attention of the sin to a person and they do nothing you must flee from that person. I am a child of God not religious! I am saved by Christ Jesus.

I am Christian too. If your friend is stealing in the best way that you can you need to let her know its wrong without hurting her feelings or something. If your still not sure of what you should do, talk to someone you know won't tell, and ask what to do.

If you want to appease God you must listen to Pat Robertson everyday while rubbing your head and patting your stomach. Afterwards, bathe in tomato juice while reading the Bible and the fire lord from up above will be appeased. The great spaghetti monster is always watching and he will be pleased with your efforts and hopefully..... he will perform.
God will never forgive you. Read the bible and understand an elephant never forgets. But if you're really nice to me, I can talk to my boy St. Peter, he runs a list at the door and may be able to get you in on a comp if you please a priest properly.

For both religious and legal reasons, do not accept any more stolen things from her.
For religious reasons, you should return the stolen things that you now have to their rightful owners.
The legal situation is more complex, in that you might get into trouble once you disclosed that you had the stolen things (even if you returned them).
In any case,
1) Do tell her to stop
2) Do not accept any stolen things from her
As for the stolen things that you already have, maybe some arrangement to return them to their owners anonymously is possible.

God might forgive you, but receiving stolen property is a crime. Tell her to stop! Now!
Like, pick up the phone NOW!

If you are that guilty about the stuff she gave you then give it to a charity shop. Tell your friend that you would rather earn your possessions than have them given to you. Tell her that you are a Christian and it goes against your belief.

Mike T had the best suggestion. Simply do not accept them & give them to charity.
