Is this a good gift for my friend from school whose a girl. she said that she is going to give all of her friends gifts so I want to give one to her. I want to tell her that i really care about her, but not let her think i want to go out with her because i don't. The gift is this nice christmas glove/stocking with godiva chocolate bars in it with a coca cola like bear hanging from it.
Here is a picture of it. It is very badly made:

Oh, I think she'll like it, I know I would.

I'd go for something a little more personal. What is the budget? What does she like? Picking something that says you're a friend but not I'd like to date you is actually very difficult. There are many cute things that are very...friendly.

Consider one of those 3 piece scarf, hat, gloves sets at Target.

Is she a big reader? A book is great. I know I could never have enough books. Plus books never say Romantic interest unless it's a book of poetry.

Does she cook? Some cooking things, like silicone pot holder or muffin pan.

Stay away from anything "personal"--lotions, massage items, jazz/romantic cds.

Clothing, an interest in a personal hobby (something for a pet, camping stuff, books, scrapbooking/photo album), or gift cards are great ideas that keep a friendly distance.

Good luck!

Chocolate, much like diamonds, are a girls bestfriend. But, chocolate has a completely different message, of course! (lol) Happy Holidays to you and yours................

Yes, it's very sweet. And I think that the best part is that it came from your heart. Remember, the intention counts the most.
