Make extra cash by...
Getting a Seasonal Job in Retail
Selling items on Amazon.com./ Ebay
Putting Your money into high yield interest account (INGdirect, HSBC direct, and Emigrant Direct Savings Account, all earn 4.5 or more interest)
This christmas ask/beg for a Visa, MasterCard Gift Card. - Then you can use it on some of the wedding expenses.
Bridal Shower - Whatever gift you don't like/want - return it for cash. (when doing your bridal registry do it for items that are $50 or more, or suggest to those you invite that Visa gift cards are welcome).
Do a side hustle - Catering, Baking, Hair, Babysitting.
Cleaning Houses - you might be able to get tips.
Bartending or Waitress - Tips really add up!
Do overtime at your job -ONLY if your are paid hourly wages (you get paid time and a half for hours worked over 40 hours a week).

.... YOUR HUSBAND TO BE SHOULD JOIN IN ON THESE ACTIVITIES ALSO!

BUDGET TIPS
When you receive your paycheck, first set money aside for necessary living expense (i.e bills, grocery, gas money), second set money aside needed for the wedding, third cut down on small unnecessary daily items that add up. Like if you buy a $1 soda a week. In a month that adds up to $30 dollars. Instead buy in bulk from the supermarket or buy a 1 liter which gives you 10x more soda and cost $1.50. Set a limit of $50 for groceries. Don't go over this limit. The money you save will add up quickly.!!!

Keep a small Journal of all the different Wedding expenses and payment/deposit due dates and the amounts. This makes it easier to keep track of how much money is need and when.

I work from home for Arbonne International. They offer a quality line of skin care products, baby care, cosmetics, etc. It is an amazing opportunity with only $29 to start and no inventory to stock up on!

The first month I started I made several hundred dollars just selling products to friends, family, and neighbors. They like the quality of the products so much that they tell people they know and your business keeps building.

It is a very easy job to do and they offer great training! Let me know if you are interested and I can give you some more specific information. This may not be the opportunity for you, but you may know someone that it would be a great fit for! You can visit arbonne.com or email me directly at arbonnehouston@comcast.net.

Not to worry you, but our wedding cost £200 and we're still happy together after 14 years while various friends who spent thousands to tens of thousands are all divorced.

Could you get people to do anything voluntarily rather than being paid? That's what we did, and our wedding was happy and enjoyed by all.

Concerning extra cash, i think people are really clamping down right now and it's going to be harder to do that. I run a small business and the work has really dried up recently, and other people i know who run popular businesses like building and decorating have also got a lot less work.

I really don't want to sound lecturing, but i've seen too many friends go through horrible divorces after spending huge sums on weddings and i know which i'd prefer out of having had a glamorous wedding and being divorced and having had the wedding we had and being happy now 14 years later.

Sorry, i really don't want to rain on your parade and i hope you're really happy. Have a good day and a good life together.

Maybe both of you need to pick up second jobs for awhile. Don't waste your money on the Internet scams that charge a fee and claim they'll help you make big money - they won't.

Try eBay, visit charity shops where you can buy junk and sell antiques!
Seriously though, it is very easy to sell your unwanted clutter on line.
