I used to have fainting fits when I was a child!
It was embarassing, but you do get used to it after a while!
Everyone around was always really concerned, and no-one ever laughed or found it funny!
I once fainted and fell down some stairs in church and dragged a rope barrier with me!
I came around with this red rope wrapped around me, and people came to help untangle me!
I couldn't help but laugh, much to the surprise of everyone there!
I made some comment like, "Trust me, I couldn't just faint discreetely, could I?"
With that, lots of people laughed, and joked with me, and I stopped feeling so embarassed after that!
Don't worry about it, because the worry is always far worse than the reality!
I hope this helps!

I fainted in a crowded place once, while I was waiting for a bus. One minute I was feeling a little dizzy, then I was sitting on a chair someone had brought over from a nearby outdoor dining area. Everyone was very nice about it, they'd already called an ambulance and someone even brought over some ice to put on my head, which had apparently hit the ground quite hard when I fell. I certainly didn't feel embarrassed at the time, although I'm not the sort of person who generally enjoys that level of attention.
Anyway I don't really think it's something you need to be too worried about. It's certainly not worth avoiding crowded places over. And if you think about it, you're better off fainting in a crowd where people will help you than when you're all on your own somewhere, since it's possible to hurt yourself quite badly by falling.
Also, keep your fluids up. When I fainted it was apparently just due to dehydration. If you're healthy and drink plenty of water you're unlikely to faint in public or anywhere else.

I fainted in line at Subway after giving blood.
There was no time to be embarrassed. Everyone was very helpful and, of course, I had to stay there until I felt solid enough to leave.
Don't worry about it. Things like that do happen and your life goes on. They are not life defining moments.

i had fainted in school the other day but there's nothing to be embarassed for because it's natural and people should be mature about things like that. there;s nothing to be worried about. i hope by u not thinking about what happened in your past, it might make u feel a bit comfortable....!!
by the way... have you seen a doctor to know exactly what happened.

I don't know, I've never fainted. I have a very major fear of being unconscious and surrounded by strangers, so I understand your phobia. If I knew an answer, I'd give it to you, but I don't, sorry.

you should not feel embarrassed at all.
have you been to the doctor to find out your reasons for fainting? i think you should forget the fact u felt embarrassed because it is not your fault and if anyone was to laugh at that they are complete idiots.
