I know that when at a steakhouse, it's usually best to order meats like fish or chicken or turkey, but if i'm REALLY in the mood for steak, which is the healthiest cut to order?

I think the leanest which would be a fillet mignon. Definitely NOT a rib eye which is the most tender & flavorful because of the marble of fat throughout.

Catch 22! The healthiest cuts will be the ones that are least marbled with fat. You can make these cuts chewable with a good marinade.

*VENISON* = Deer Meat.....though cannot *buy* it but,you can go buy a license to deer hunt** -

The meat is naturally fed - not like beef, pork, chicken and types of fish......this free range style so to say....and they aren't shot up full of hormones, special cattles feeds and other gunk either.......this is why their meat is VERY lean and if you prepair it right - you will not taste the (gamey or as they say *wild* taste at all........)

I have deer - stew,chili,deer jerky,deer burgers and more........and it's all good !!!
