1) An Antique Clock Cost £540. Its Increased By 18% What Is The Total Now ?


2)£600 is put in the bank. after a year the money has increased by 8%. How Much is in the bank?

3) second hand car cost £2400. The price falls by 45% when it is sold again. how much is it sold for now ?

just add one to the percent and times it by the arignal price.

1)Amount increased=18% of £540
=(18/100)*540
=£97.2
So, total amount=540+97.2
=£637.2

2)Similarly, total=600+((8/100)*600))
=600+48
=£648

3)Price fallen=(45/100)*240=£1080
Sold price=2400-1080
=£1320

2)600*1.08 =648
3) 2400*0.55=1320
