Gifts that don't cost too much huh??
Well besides the Dollar Tree, lol... Try this site!
www.freecycle.org
Find your state, type in the city youre from, then click on join this group and fill out some of the info.

You can read all about it, it's very cool and I brought xmas to my whole family last year because of it! Im not kidding!!

Its just things that people no longer use, either because they got a new one, theyre moving, or just plain dont want it anymore! They dont want to throw it away and waste landfills, sooo.. they give it to someone who could use it!
One persons trash is anothers treasure! =)
It's very awesome! Try it out.....

p.s. don't be a grinch! Christmas is a great Holiday and as long as you have family to spend it with is all that really matters. Just think of the homeless out there when you start to feel grinchy about your life! GL with everything, God Bless!

I've noticed, people have put a monetary value on Christmas. They have completely forgot what its about, whether religious or not.

They "Best" thing you could do, it take your children to a shelter and volunteer their time. After that experience, they will appreciate having their mom and dad, the clothes on their backs, and Mcdonalds!

As for your husband and friend, just remember, they're probably as stressed as you are, and when the holidays are over, everything will be alright! Keep your head up!
If you still insist on physical gifts under the tree, I find the least expensive, but most fun gifts can be found in the fabrics and crafts dept. at your local retailer. Buy them tubes of paint (under 50 cents) and wood cut outs or ceramic sculptures (under 50 cents). You could also try felt and googley eyes or mini weaving potholder looms...the choices are endless. It expands the mind and imagination and its uncostly. Journals, books, pens, crayons...

They're doing things productive, instead of watching tv or playing video games.

And you'll boost their confidence when you display their wonderful work.

welcome to the club! Money is tight these days and when you have kids that want all these expensive gifts and stuff, you just want to hide under the covers until January-when everything goes on clearance! My hubby and i fight as well! Look in the paper for specials-there are some good ones! and buys a little every week, don't wait till the last minute!

Our united states of america is in a loose fall, our authorities is corrupt previous restoration, our president is off on a 4 million greenback vacation on our dime, and individuals are ignoring all of that and attempting to remove our Constitutional rights. the recent darkish age is upon us. i don't experience very like dancing round a christmas tree or listening to about reindeer and lower than the impression of alcohol previous women getting run over. Congratulations on your weightloss. save tabs on it yet do not bypass over out on the sturdy foodstuff all at the same time.

Get yourself in the mood by spending time with your children, baking and decorating cookies, make decorations...snowflakes...paper chains...take a day to go to the mall and just go "looking", have a nice lunch at McDonalds, and visit a home for the elderly, take them some Cookies, go to Walmart, stay away from the Chinese toys.....board games are making a comeback, puzzles, too. I bought my son some lincoln logs and he loved them....we live where it snows, sleds, skates, snowball shields. Get involve at your Church....Put some distance between you and that friend for a while..or ask her what is wrong????? and most of all...Merry Christmas to you
