I hope you got your friend's permission to post the link to her picture. That being said, I would say that the picture shows her as "plain" or "average", but definitely not ugly. There are many things she could do to enhance her appearance - a bit of makeup done the right way, a change in hairstyle, and definitely a nice smile would all go a long way toward this. The first thing for her to do, of course, is to accept who she is as a person and what she looks like as being perfectly OK. When she goes looking for friends, it will be her personality and character traits that will go a lot farther than her looks.

shes not really ugly but thats not the most pleasant expression on her face. she should work on her self esteem if she thinks she is ugly. a lot of times people just say that cause they want to hear that they are pretty despite where or not they think they are unattractive

i looked at the picture and yeh i think shes prety but what i think most is that you shouldn't have put this picture on here, how would yu have felt if suddely she signed on and saw this picture that you posted of her, if she has low self confidence then there is other ways of boosting it rather than posting her picture on the internet

Do you want my honest opinion? Cause I agree with your best friend. You can always lie and make her feel good, but it's not going to make her any more attractive, at least on the physical level. Perhaps she just looks really bad in that picture, but chances are you put up at least a decent one.
Maybe that's just my opinion, but these other people seem to agree with me.

It's difficult to judge how attractive she is from just one picture, but based on that one, I'd say she's average.

I don't understand why you would put this picture on here, even with your friend's permission. How she feels about herself is not going to be changed what a bunch of random strangers on the internet think. She needs to work on her self esteem issues within HERSELF, and not worry what others (in the real world or on the internet) think about her.
