if you live in a right to work state they don't have to have a reason, if you can prove a pattern of the same behavior than you can go to the EEOC, if you can't than they can do nothing

Yes, my law firm has been successful in many complaints. If you feel you were fired because of discrimination due to your age you can file/or have an attorney file an age-discrimination complaint with the EEOC and your state's Human Rights Dept/commission/group.

Go to www.eeoc.gov to look at the info on age discrimination complaints. REMEMBER you are under a time limit for filing your complaint.

If you are over 40 and feel you can prove that your age was what got you fired, contact your local EEOC office - if they agree you have a case, they'll handle it and you won't be paying a lawyer.

We did, and eventually won but it cost us almost $4000 in legal fees. In the end, we probably would not do it again if faced with the choice to sue or not to sue.
