Alyssa - cute and sweet, and obviously she could use Aly (which itself is pretty cute) as her nickname. It's always much better and a lot easier on a kid if she has a full, formal given name to fall back on later in life. After all, Alyssa Smith sounds much more professional than just Aly Smith.
