I want to take Black Cohosh but nervious to Im 37 weeks and I asked my MW if I had the baby tomorrow would it be completly healthy. She said yes. Due to personal reasons I want to have the baby before Dec. 13 my due date is Dec. 22. Has anybody induced labor this early and if so did you have any problems? If not how much Cohosh do you take?

If your body was ready to give birth, it would. Not all 37 weekers are born healthy. And you should not take ANY thing without talking to your midwife.

My guess is she told you not to take it so that's why you're asking here. So all your doing is putting your baby at risk. To want to deliver a baby early for 'personal' reasons is disgustingly selfish. Then you'll be back here crying cuz your baby is in the NICU and expect sympathy.

Black and Blue cohosh can injury the infant on the ingredient. optimum persons use it to abort the fetus indoors the 1st couple of weeks of being pregnant. I used castor oil yet my infant replaced into @ 40 wks n previous due. I dnt propose it bc it may additionally be kinda volatile. some drs are for it n against it. i truly had to to take it 2 days in a row. the entire friggn bottle to get little contrations. good achievement to u

I had my baby at 37 weeks and she had complications. They are considered full term at 37 weeks and healthy but not always. They need that three weeks to grow and get healthy. Don't rush it's not worth seeing your baby with complications especially when you caused them. Just be patient the baby will be here soon. Congrats on your baby!

Look, you're going to do what you're going to do, but why the heck are half the people in here in such a rush to end their pregnancies early?

I will never, ever understand this.

I have no idea what "Cohosh" is, but you shouldn't do ANYTHING without consulting your ob/gyn, first.
