Princess bride might be of that time period, but it's more of a fantasy than a movie you would learn about the Middle Ages from.

How about Robin Hood?

My name is Ignio Montoya you killed my father prepare to die.... man this is one of my favorite movies but not sure on the time period....i would say probably around the late 1700s to the 1800s...no way to be sure becaue it seems like they mixed it up on purpose and put a lot of fantasy in there like the Forrest with the man sized rats.... the reason it has to be in the late 1700s to 1800s is because they talk of Australia and that was not as commonly known to the english till then.... but the wierd thing is that by the late 1700s gunpowder was invented but was not in the film....the only reason i know this is because i seen the movie about 200 times ...like i said is one of my favorites

Maybe Ben Her. That is a VERY good move. It covers around that time. Or maybe even in the B.Cs... :P The director said that an actor got killed during shooting the movie. When he was going to get run over by a cart (apart of the movie) he actually fell off, missed the mat he was supposed to land on, and got ran over...but it won many grammy's and is VERY good. I recommend it to ANYONE!

Yes that would work but it is a fairy tale not really a good depiction of the middle ages. However it is my favorite movie ever I have every word memorized.
