was released in about 87 or 88
making them
MOST DEFINITELY an 80's Hair Metal Band and so was Skid Row

Though I Love Zebra, I never really included them in that outrageous, spandex, makeup-wearing bunch that *I* associated w/ hair metal.
The 1st album was amazing. Some gems on the 2nd.
I have a 1981 bootleg w/ them covering Rush & Zepp.

My favorite hair metal bands are Bon Jovi, Poison, Guns n Roses, Tesla, Cinderella, Def Leppard, Ratt, Damn Yankees, Motley Crue, Slaughter, White Lion, Bullett Boys, Winger, Whitesnake...
Favorite Songs: 'Home Sweet Home'-Motley, 'Wanted Dead or Alive'-Bon Jovi, 'November Rain'-GNR, 'Love Song'-Tesla, 'Fly to the Angels'-Slaughter
I'm sure I'm forgetting some bands and some songs, but that's just off the top of my head.

Mötley Crüe - Anything from their first three albums was epic. Songs like Live Wire, Looks that Kill, Piece of Your Action, Too Fast for Love represent the high point of hair metal.
Ratt - Round and Round as well as the entire album Out of the Cellar. Loved this album at the time. Lay It Down also good.

Oh my... There are only a couple because I'm not huge on 80s stuff, but I would have to say Motley Crue and Whitesnake. Motley Crue sang Smokin' In The Boys' Room and Whitesnake did Lady Red Light. If you haven't already heard them, I would most definitely recommend checking them out!

Guns n' Roses definitely. They are a great hair metal band. They have a slew of great songs that sound great today. Guns n' Roses also didn't wear as much hairspray and makeup as other hair metal bands in the 80's. Welcome to the Jungle, Sweet Child of Mine, and any other song from their album Appetite for Destruction.

Warrant was a 90s band.
Skid Row released their debut in 1989 but it's singles and success didn't happen until 1990.

I agree that Zebra is great.....as is Sweet F.A. (I didn't know anybody else ever heard of them), and Y&T (mean streak is one of my top 10 fave songs ever!)
