i admit this is likely but there's not one decent matchup in there. the football gods (Odin, Thor, Loki etc) should intervine and make USC play Georgia

but most of those blow out NC games were intriguing matchups before the game was played. it is true that some of those were pretty sucky but did all those bowls in those years also produce crappy matchups?

Ask yourself this, after seeing what USC is this year, would you have them in the talk for the National Championship HAD THEY NOT come into the season ranked #1 and been touted as the best college football team EVER?
Do you think that if Georgia had a shot to play LSU in the SEC Championship game, that Georgia would have won it? Do you think that LSU is really THAT good, considering how close most of their games were against teams that were ranked #17? They beat Auburn 30-24. When Ohio State played Penn State, who was #20 at the time, they won 37-17. When Ohio State beat Wisconsin, #20 at the time, they won 38-17. When LSU played a #17 Alabama team that is definitley not as good as Wisconsin, they won 41-34.
When you determine strength of schedule for this season, rankings mean absolutely nothing, because a win over a team a month and a half ago today could possibly mean nowhere near as much. At one point, Wisconsin was the #4 team in the country, Michigan was the #5 team, and Penn State was the #10 team. Its just that OSU got them towards the end of the season, when those guys had already lost. What if we had played them earlier in the season? The same applies for LSU. Would thier win over then ranked #12 South Carolina be impressive at all if it had come two weeks ago? The only team that I am impressed at for LSU beating was Florida, and thats a game they shouldnt have even won.
The guy with all the blowout bowl games listed above has a great point, how can you be sure whether LSU or whoever is going to blow out Ohio State in the title game? Nebraska had a blowout win one year, and then got demolished the next! Theres no way to be sure.
And think about this, with the way this season has been going, do you really think there wont be any upsets or thrillers in the Bowl Games? What makes you think that after a season where the Kansas Jayhawks beat Nebraska 76-39 IN FOOTBALL, and where Division II Appalachian State beat Michigan, that the Bowl Games will go as planned?

How do you define suckiest? There have been some very lopsided championship games:
1992 Alabama 34, Miami 13
1995 Nebraska 62. Florida 24
1996 Florida 52. Florida St 20
1997 Nebraska 42, Tennesee 17
2001 Miami 37, Nebraska 14
2004 USC 55, Oklahoma 19
2006 Florida 41, Ohio St 14.
I'd say if this years game is decided by less than 20 points (whoever is playing) it will not be the suckiest!!!

Atleast Oklahoma doesn't get stuck playing Hawaii like they did against Boise State Last Year...
Either way i agree... If LSU makes the BCS Championship game The system is rigged. I don't care what anyone saids...
Ohio State would get crapped on by LSU. Just like they did against Florida last year. Georgia will beat Hawaii... Missouri get shafted out? How the F*ck is that possible... they go from 1 to none and get stuck playing arkansas. (Would still be a good game.) How about Hawaii if they beat Georgia? We would have the same question as we did last year after Boise State beats Oklahoma... Can Hawaii win it all. Let me see you go undefeated played and can't make the championship game. Then what the hell are they doing in Div 1-A...put the teams back in Div 1-AA ...

That's the worst case scenario for Hawaii, I'd hoped they'd play LSU so they could win.
This BCS quagmire is why we NEED playoffs. Then we'd all see who is really the best.
Oh and Christopher C - News Flash - Boise WON!

In his way Stalin became into yet another Hitler, and Stalin lasted longer in capacity, and died of previous age, nonetheless in capacity. Stalin became into in charge of Soviet Russia, an important united states of america. on condition that that factor there have been a number of dictators in charge of countries that have had huge effect, e.g.Ghaddafi in Libya (small united states of america by inhabitants, yet vast effect because of the fact of oil), Mao Tse Tung in China and Saddam Hussein in Iraq (oil, lower back, and seem on the chaos in Iraq on condition that he became into deposed). no one can are looking forward to the destiny, yet i would not be shocked to discover a dictator in an analogous place to Hitler at some time.

I can't wait to see how the pimps of the Big 12,SEC,and Big 10 screw this up again with their @#$%^$ overated teams, that don't show up for bowl games, just take the money and run.
I feel sorry for Hawaii, who won't even get a sniff at the championship, even though they're undefeated.
