The only good thing that will result from this comedy is that the United States will now get serious about becoming energy independent. Of course this will mean that all of these little petty oil producing Countries will no sink into economic oblivion and that will lead to internal military strife as the people of those countries revolt as they begin to starve.
Of course, this change will also make it difficult for some of the American Hollywood idiots (i.e., Sean Penn) to justify their traveling to Venezuela to kiss the butt of their new dictator.

Venezuela has become a dictatorship under the rule of a maniac. i visited a friend in Caracas recently and there were teenagers on street corners with automatic rifles. they were part of the new regime. our liberal representatives will not oppose because we buy ten percent of our oil from them.
