I have just put my big one up today as my husband is home this weekend and the kids were upset at the thought of not seeing him again for a few weeks so i decided it would lighten the mood
I will put up my other one this week (i need a break after the hour long battle with the lights i had today)

Nope, and I am completely dreading having to do it. ughhhhh. I do enjoy it after I get it up and decorated though. It makes the house smell nice. Maybe I'm just strange, but I always get sad when we take it down. At that point it really feels like Christmas is over. Christmas is such a happy time, so when it's over kinda gets depressing ya know?

I saw already lots of people with trees in their cars, but here in Belgium we tend to wait one week more. Next week, on December 6 we celebrate 'Sinterklaas', or the real santa clause, if I may say so (0:
Just, like the christmas santa clause, he brings presents for the little children, but he rides a horse in stead of a sledge with deer.
Anyway, stores are asked to wait until then with the christmas decorations, and many people try to do the same thing in their houses.

Yes, two hours ago. My 9 yr old son wouldn't leave me alone.
It's up, and running, until January 6th 2008. He is this minute adding more decorations to it. it's all white... and it is 5 feet tall and it's one of those trees with fibre optics... rotating colour disk underneath. SPECTACLE how it changes colours. My son and I make new transparent disks and put different colours on them. When we are tired of one colour combination we replace it with another disk. Old CD disk are perfect for that.

Yes, me, am looking it it right now. Spent the afternoon putting it up and driving to and from garden centre in driving rain, to much cursing from other half, cos I didn't like the lights I bought. Still it looks very pretty.

Yeh, my mum and dad put it up.
I don't feel in the Christmas mood yet. :(
Time seems to go so fast. Like this year, can't believe it's going to be 2008 already.
I remember when it was the year 2000.!!
