Did the marriage work out, and why or why not?

Thanks.

My first cousin married a wheelchair-bound woman back in 2003 and they are still married. In fact, earlier this year they had twin girls. The marriage has worked out so far because they love each other and as long as you love each other nothing else should matter.

I am not wheelchair-bound. I use a scooter. A scooter offers me freedom. It is not in the least bit binding, nor was my wheelchair when I needed to use one.

I am in an 8 year relationship - neither of us are interested in marriage on principle. Yes it is working out exceptionally well.

The worst possible scenario is a disabled person in a wheelchair feeling sorry for them self. They are miserable and they make everyone else miserable around them.
A person that accepts their handicap and makes the most of it is to be admired. The marriage will work if you get the latter but fail miserably if you get the former.
