The energy produced in the core of the sun is nuclear, not chemical. The mass of the four protons that become a single helium nucleus is greater than the mass of the helium. That extra mass appears as energy as described by the Einstein equation:

E = mc^2

I would like to let you know that when there are more no. of atoms energy produced is more..
If you dont know then on the surface of the sun,nuclear fusion takes place ..thus 1 Hydrogen Atom{Actually,Deutrium..an isotope of hydrogen) Fuses Into 4 Helium atoms...now,chain reactions occur between many Hydrogen Atoms(Which Have Turned Into 4 helium each) and they Fuse(Combine) With Each Other...Thus,they continuously combine(as chain reaction occurs) and at one stage there is a great amount of energy stored in a very small atom...due to the small size of atoms,the atoms inside hit the Nucleus Of the atom and thus it blasts with a great amount of energy being released...the same principle is used in exploding nuclear bombs...

The Reactions Are Based On The Einsteins Law Of Conversion Of energy...(delta)E=mc^2..........

Here,E refers to energy..M refers to the (atomic) mass of the object and C refers to The Velocity Of light In Particular Medium..

Your question has a number of meanings. i will attempt 2: a million. 4 protons (Hydrogen) fuse into one Helium, and the skill launch is the mass enormous difference circumstances c^2 (speed of sunshine squared). this is about 0.7% of the mass. it is going to provide you round 7 MeV in line with proton, this is 7*10^(-13) Joule. 2. the completed volume of skill released by ability of the solar is two*10^33 erg/s, this is 2*10^26 Joule/s. make certain you realize what you requested, then.

conservation of energy .....
as the binding energy of helium nuclei is greater than that of the sum of the binding energies for 2 hydrogen nuclei, energy must be released to the surroundings so that the net amount of energy in the universe remains constant.
Alot of energy is required to initiate this process, because the positively charged hydrogen nuclei (protons) undergo powerful electrostatic repulsion over long distances, and have to be brought close enough so that the attractive strong nuclear force can dominate over the e/m (strong nuclear is much stronger than e/m but only mediates over short distances)

because it is a chemical reaction-all chemical reactions involve energy change through the making and breaking of bonds.
