the reason you're getting that dialogue box is because you've chosen to close a program that isn't responding(the program froze). typically with Internet Explorer. the send and don't send box you're getting is for the error report. Whichever you choose the program is going to close, there is really no need to press send, it doesnt fix anything. it shouldnt close out all your programs though. for example, if you have 4 internet explorer windows opened, it WILL close all of those, because that is the non-responsive program, but it should close your Itunes or AOL software etc etc. nothing to be freaked out about, happens to all of us. just choose :DON'T SEND and re open the program

Your problem starts with broken links, damaged links or programs with damaged lines of code.
You need to clean out your computer hard drive at least once every 6 months to keep it running clean, especially if your computer is taking a long time to boot up or you get repeated Internet interruptions of "illegal operation" messages.
To do this you need to do a registry scan to check your download registry. All of those programs you have downloaded from the internet may have been updated and changed some lines of their code and your computer is still trying to run an older version of the program. A registry scan will go through your downloaded programs, repair broken links, find programs you haven't used in 2 or more years and delete them, and delete links that cannot be repaired.
go to : http://www.liutilities.com/products/registrybooster/
to get started.
It's also a good idea to go through your hard drive files and start deleting programs you haven't used, started but never finished, junk like bad photos or songs that don't play right, and take a moment to delete your browsing history on your web browser program (such as Internet Explorer, go to tools, click on delete browser history, and delete all. It should delete tracking cookies at the same time that can slow down your internet speed.)
Now is a good time to clean out your hard drive for the New Year. Have a computer-savvy friend help you and take them out to dinner or something to thank them. It's worth it to learn how to clean out your own system to make it run better and faster.

Dan is right. If it happens to you constantly (it did for me) you might want to have your computer checked out at Geek Squad or Best Buy or Circut City. My problem was that I didn't have enough memory on my computer and it made my computer slow, and always froze up like yours did.
I'm just say'n.
