Well from the looks of it yes. The White Sox are just awful. If you take a look at their minor leaguers, they really don't have anyone significant. The only minor leaguer of their's that I have some liking for is Ryan Sweeney. He is a 22 year old outfielder with a good amount of potential. I also like one of their pitching prospects: 22 year old Gio Gonzalez. This southpaw had a great 2007 and should have an impact on the 2008 White Sox. Probably one of the biggest mistakes for the Sox was dealing away prized outfielder Aaron Rowand to the Phillie's for old, fragile Jim Thome. That was where it all went downhill. They are depleted in starting pitching after recently dealing Garland to the Halos for Cabrera. They barely have any hitting and the only bright spot to their bullpen is Bobby Jenks who should try and lose a load of weight before next season. I do, however, like the Cubs' chances at winning before the Sox do. They have a lot of hitting (Soriano, A-Ram, Lee, etc...). Their starting pitching is around average at this point due to the fact that Zambrano's pitching has been less than impressive and very desultory. They do have good mid-rotation pitchers in Hill and Lilly. One thing they do need to improve is their pen. Carlos Marmol is a great start but will not resolve that problem yet. Neal Cotts is a huge question mark as he pitched well for the Sox in 2006 but had a down year in 07 with the Cubs and Sox. Howry was decent last year, too. Also, the Cubs MUST find away to unload Ryan DUMPster. He can no longer be the big closer for the Cubs. They should let Marmol close from now on and try and deal DUMPster for some cash or a decent minor leaguer. Finally, the thing I love about the Cubbies is their minor league system. Loads of potential is down there. The big names for the Cubs are Felix Pie, 2007 1st rounder Josh Vitters who is said to be a sure-fire stud, Donald Veal is a pitcher who had a lot of potential coming into 07 but had a disappointing year, and finally the highly regarded, Fighting Irishman Jeff Samardzija who, like Veal had a disappointing year in the 2007 campaign. As you can see, the big factor for these two ball clubs is simple: THE FUTURE. The Cubs easily has a much better future than the White Sox. So who will it be: The White Sox or the Cubs? God only knows who will win a World Series first!

i think of yet another suitable question would desire to be is that if the Cubs will ever make it to a diverse worldwide sequence? If the decrease back to the destiny predictions are certainly genuine, then 2015 stands out as the three hundred and sixty 5 days of the Cubs!

I would love to see the Cubbies win one before I die. Having Pinella may help but they're always horrible. The White Sox on the other hand need some help at pitcher and then they can again be competitive. Who knows?

I really dont believe in any type of curse for either team. Cubs have been hampered by injuries in the last few years, especially in their pitching staff. Sox made some dumb moves like trading aaron rowand. Based on the teams they have now and their respective coaches, I would favor the Cubs over the Sox. Cubs need to continue to spend money and get some pitching. They have all the tools. Sox are looking interesting as they have decent pitching and Josh Fields looks very promising. If Crede comes back healthy, they will contend again.

I'd say, at least at this point, the COBS are in better shape than the WHITE SOX are so if it was between the 2 I'd have to pick the CUBS. At least for now...

Why not...I think its possible anything is possible and they seem to be getting slightly better. Its also time for them to win. 99 years of not winning sucks pretty bad and I would hate to have that reputation. So I would say a win coming up soon would not be a surprise to me.
