If some sort of plague or other incident wiped out everyone around you and you couldn't find a trace of humanity by searching or radioing or the Internet, there would be a number of things to keep in mind. Where would you go and what would you do?

As an instance of one of the lesser-thought of issues, how close do you presently live to any nuclear reactors? In the event of a catastrophe that removed all other humans, that reactor would essentially be in a final countdown-stage until meltdown (unless you and you alone knew how to shut it down safely, of course). So you probably wouldn't want to stick around near any cities that have nuclear power. Staying too close to any nuclear stockpiles might not be so good, either - if any one of the bombs goes haywire and the detonation device triggers via a malfunction at some point decades down the road, you'd be critter toast.

So there are some examples of possible issues. What would -you- do first? Where would you go?

I would eat lots of nice food, drink lots of champagne and then find a gun for when I get bored so I could kill myself.
If I could work out how to run movies at the cinema I might hang around longer. Maybe I'd use the time to catch up on all the books I want to read.
Or maybe I'd spend a frantic week releasing animals from homes, zoos and farms where they would be trapped and starving to death.
It would also depend on whether everyone has died and is stinking the place up, or have conveniently vanished. I'm not hanging around with rotting corpses all over the place
I'd definitely steal a really good car, or maybe a huge camper van and go a wandering to my favourite places by the sea.
If I could get through the chunnel and into France, I'd head south and enjoy the sun and the sea. In theory I could drive all the way to Singapore.
I like this question.

party for free, sail the biggest boat, fly a helicopter, drive every fast car everywhere, eat only canned foods.
party for free.
Start my own religion, start my own radio station, play air guitar in the metro, party for free.

Am I gonna enjoy it or what

I would starve to death because there would be no more human babies to eat.
