I suppose Richard Pryor was. Dave Chapell may be the best I have heard now. As for the best over all comic I've heard it was John Candy.

I Love Love Love Chelsea Handler. She's on each night on the E Channel. The name of her show is CHelsea Lately. She pokes fun at celebrities who make the daily news as well as poke fun of herself. SHe is hilarious and even has written a few books. One being called "My Horizontal Life" which she describes her one night stands. You have to watch Chelsea because she IS the next bext thing in Comedy!!
