I know nothing's official yet. But do you think Ohio State will, 100%, be playing in the National Championship game? The opponent is unknown.. but do you think there's anyone that might kick OSU out of the running.. ?

I don't think they deserve a spot, but they are a 1 lose team that won their conference, so I think they are pretty much guaranteed a spot. Even though Hawaii is undefeated they have played no one and belong to a minor conference. Kansas is also a one lose team, but they lost to their one good opponent plus they are not conference champions. Everyone else has two losses, so Ohio State is in and the only question is who will they be playing?

There is no way they should be left out; but who knows? Everyone is trying to redefine who the best teams in the country are. One says losing is ok if it is in overtime. One says if their most embarrassing loss was with an injured QB. One says they are the best right now (the first 3/4 of the season shouldn't count). One says they beat the #1 team in the country on the last day of the season (even though no one really thought that team should really be #1).

Any SEC team could thump OSU ! LSU VS Georgia would be a winner for the Championship .

Yes, they will be the new number 1 team when the new ranking comes out! :-) So, it's on to the national championship game!

Unless the voters completely rebel against them, there's no way they won't be in the championship game. At this point, I think it's less an "if" question about the Buckeyes, and more about who their opponent will be.

It's not 100%, but it's pretty close right now. I can't see two teams leaping over them.

Yes..there is no chance that they will be passed by 2 teams. I dont see Georgia or Kansas jumping them when they havent played either. And I dont see Virginia Tech or LSU jumping up 5-6 teams both. Its going to be OhioState v UNKNOWN..they are positively in.

even though they are overrated they will more then likely be the new #1 Team in the BCS and they way LSU is whinning about it they will be #2 and UGA will get shafted because everyone thinks cause they didn't play for the SEC Title they don't deserve to go to the Big Game...the BCS is full of BS

Why kick out the best team in the nation that is in a "rebuilding" year from the National Championship?
