Democrats have made a living off of GWB's "Mission Accomplish" speech, but why have they not bashed Hillary Clinton when she went on MSNBC and stated the same thing?

tribeca....
I agree, but like GWB she is stating what the whole "Mission Accomplished" speech was meaning the end of Saddam's dictatorship and that the Iraq army was defeated by our US military.

Maybe because Bush is the president and everything that happens on his watch is his responsibility? If you don't fancy the 'democrats' why not simply defend the actions, policies and politics of the 'republicans'? If you can make a good case for an occupation with no natural stopping place and a war that's spreading then make that case. We're all ears. No kiddin'!

That video was cut off before she finished the thought. I can't determine what she was saying without further research.

EDIT: Scarborough was questioning her about her proposal to end the authority for the Iraq War. She had previously announced that she and Senator Byrd would introduce legislation to end authority for the war in Iraq. The clip is part of her response.

I watched the video and can say that her "mission accomplished" statement was said with a bit of skepticism...you cut off the last bit, so I am suspect of your "evidence"...a typical FOX ploy to cut at moments that make the talker seem to have a firm position when he does not....but anyway, even accepting this as evidence, it does not compare to Bush in a flight suit declaring to the world "Mission Accomplished"
