I think they both have equal potential. At the moment, Ana Ivanovic has been more successful and has more variety in her game, but it doesn't mean Vaidisova can't fulfill the same potential. Vaidisova has an impressive ground game, with a great serve, and booming forehand. Like Sharapova, she has troubles with volleying, and movement, only because of her height. Also, Vaidisova has had problems controlling herself emotionally, when things fall apart on the court. She is still relatively young. I think she will be able to control herself better and stay more positive on the court. With all being said, I think they both have equal potential, as there is no clear-cut favorite. Both players still have things in their game to work on. Nonetheless, they are 2 incredible young players, who will do amazing things in the women's game, and go on to have pretty good success.

Right now I'd say Ivanovic because of her recent success, but a few years back Vadisova was said to have had more natural talent than Sharapova but obviously without the mental strength. If Vadisova doesn't make it to the semis of a Grand Slam next year then I guess it's fair to say Ivanovic will have the better career.

I think they're somehow equal, both of them are very good players and I'm sure both of em will be very succesful in the future. But I'd go with Ivanovic, cuz when she's on court, she just seems to be very mature. She can control her emotions, while I think Vaidisova's not so good at that

vaidisova has actually bee around for quite a while and if she did have a better future it should have happened months or years ago. i think ivanovic has the better future beacuse she is young and has an all-around game. she seems more dominant than vaidisova. but they are both good players.

It's probably equal if two things could be fixed. 1. If you could give Vaidisova a brain and 2. If you could give Ivanovic some speed, they both would become grand slam champions.

Vaidisova has no variety in her game
cannot hit a decent volley to save her life and she is slow and a horrible mover
she's terrible at defense to offense
she doesn't have plan B when plan A doesn't work
Ivanovic is a better player than Vaidisova
great forehand
good backhand
she's ok at the net but will never come close to the net game of a Mauresmo and Henin
she's ok as a defensive player
ok as an offensive player
she is slow too
ok footwork
she needs to get fitter

Hard to say since both are still young and still can improve. I think they will replace Henin and Sharapova 3 to 4 years from now when Henin, Sharapova get older.
