The Mid Cape area of Cape Cod (Hyannis, Yarmouth) is pretty busy in July. Lots of things to do, the beach, mini golf, great art museums, golf, people watching, whale watches, so much more..check out capecodchamber.org , hyannis.com, or capecod.com for places to stay (from cottages to suites to basic hotel rooms) and things/calendar of events to do...Have Fun!

Depending on what your idea of "affordable" is, Cape Cod is very expensive in July. The only affordable time to go to Cape Cod is during the "off-season".

Basically all of the Cape will be very expensive during that peak season. I would say any area in mid-Cape (Falmouth, Hyannis, Yarmouth) is great to stay. You can get some great sea food, perhaps take the ferry out to the islands, enjoy great sea food, and great beaches!

The Cape is comparatively small (which means you are able to flow from one end to the different interior 2 hours - -pending site visitors) The north area has Cape Cod Bay, the water is cooler, the seashores are flat (at low tide) and are regularly busy. South area seashores have warmer water, regularly greater waves and are ver busy. terrific wager, take a glance at each city - all of them have something to grant. maximum folk prefer to stay close to the midsection of the Cape (Mid-Cape) so they're close to the seashores, procuring and restauarants - yet nonetheless close sufficient to day-trip everywhere. have exciting, the Cape is eye-catching!

Whale watching is always great that time of year. And if you like to golf, there are some great places to golf. Go see the beaches, they are different then the west coast beaches.

Here are a few links to help your travels and help you find a reasonable hotel, I know it helped me in my travels.
